DeadlinesThe District Fundraiser is almost over. In fact — it ends today! If you haven’t placed an order yet and would like to do so, you have a few options. Get your order form in to school today (or ASAP) or contact Sharon Broz at sbroz@yahoo.com for help.    I know I need to go fill out my form now or I’ll be wishing I’d bought the “good” wrapping paper at the holidays. (More importantly for the kids….we need cookie dough in the freezer!  :D )

If you haven’t registered your grocery store cards yet this year, there is still time. In fact, when you register each year, the store credits our school with all the purchases from September through April. You get credit for shopping you have already done! You just need to re-register your card each year. You can do it right now if you have your Heinen’s and Giant Eagle cards nearby – it only takes a few minutes. Register for Heinen’s here and Giant Eagle here. tigerthanks

Back this year!  Sloppy Joes!

sloppy_joe

The middle school will be hosting a family Sloppy Joe night on Friday September 25th before the Homecoming football game.  Doors open at 5:00.   Football game starts at 7:00.   Buy your tickets early and it is only $5 for a single Sloppy Joe….and $6 for two.  If for any reason you don’t just LOVE Sloppy Joes – there will also be macaroni and cheese, chips, salad, drinks and a dessert table.  The middle school gym will be open so the kids have plenty of room to run around – regardless of the weather.  We’ve also got some kid activities planned.  This sounds so much more fun to me than cooking.  :)   If you buy your tickets at the door, they will be a dollar more than presale ($6 for single, $7 for a double).

Tickets will be available at all Open Houses over the next two weeks – and also at all  school lunchrooms Thursday Sept 24th and Friday September 25th.  Pick them up early and save time and money.   If you’d like to enter our Tiger Experience Raffle, bring some extra money the night of the event.  We started this raffle last year and it was a hit.  We’ll have a list of available raffle items up on the web site before the event happens – so check back then.

Hope to see everyone there!  tigermania!

2008-2009 DirectorySchool directories. Indispensable. They contain addresses and phone numbers for every student in the district as well as contact information for all four schools. I usually have one directory on the kitchen counter and one in the car – but when I went to find one for this photo, both were missing. :o Obviously, I’ll be ordering two this year! :)

Profits from sales of student directories go to the After Prom Committee. Each year, they arrange a big celebration for the hours after prom ends. It is always spectacular and always a huge hit. Directory order forms should have come home with your child, but if they didn’t you can download one . Just send your completed form back to school with your child. Directories will be delivered to the schools and come home with your child soon. tigerthanks
